The '39 H the Super H replaced in May of '68 had 10-38 GY tires on it, new size would be 11.2X38 and they were tiny, and like HILLMAN says, it needed the smaller tires to make up for the lack of HP. The super C was made to have a fast hitch and the hydraulics to go with it. The H series didn't have a fast hitch until they morphed into the 300 models.
