As for stat allocation: 27 VIGOR 10 DEX 24 ATT 40 STR 40 INT 40 FAITH. Rest is up to you, starting as pyro you will have 23 points left to spend.

Wondering where to place my 120 points I accumulated. I'm figuring Intelligence, Dex, Vigor with a few in strength and vitality and maybe extra in Endurance.Vigor is to increase your health pool, which you definitely want to get to at least around 24 first thing, it soft caps around 28 or 30 cant remember, but dont ever understimate the benefit of a larger health pool, its better than being able to wield some weapon or access to a better pyromancy early game. #10.The witch's ring (Boost pyromancy damage) And the last ring is utility. I have the Untrue Dark ring cuz I'm stupid and like not looking like a dark phantom. But this could easily be a Karthas ring for easier dodge rolls. I use Pyro parting Flame from the Painting DLC in my right hand BUT you DON'T need the strength requirement to use it!Pyromancer's Parting Flame is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3. The pyromancy flame of Livid Pyromancer Dunnel that attracts the echoes of death. When Dunnel lost his hideous spouse, he gave his own pyromancy flame as an offering, which transformed into a parting flame. Not long after, Dunnel became a mad spirit, cursed to wander the lands.

28 Attunement would be your best stat investment. Otherwise you are pretty much fine with staying at SL122, although if you wanted to get all the way to SL125, getting to 14 Str would let you use a wider array of weapons, like Uchigatana and Great Scythe.Pyromancy is a great backup to pretty much any build. All you need to use them are a few spell slots. So which one you choose is more up to personal preference. 4. Reply. guywitharock. • 3 yr. ago. Pyromancy in DS3 requires both faith and intelligence to be effective. When I did my pyromancy build, I got my stats to the minimum requirements for the weapon I wanted to use, which was the falchion but feel free to use what you like, and then bumped up faith, intelligence and attunement. I don't think quality is advisable, just too thin ...Dex/faith is better for melee, dex/pyro gives you great ranged options. Both of them use dex weapons and cast a weapon buff on them to do your main damage, no sage ring required once your dex is above say 30, highly recommend the sellsword twinblades, onikiri and ubadachi, crow talons, manikin claws, brigand twindaggers, crow quills,...

A smaller point is, keep a variety of weapons. Keep an ultra, a straight sword and a greatsword in your pocket. Astora's is awesome on a dark/chaos infusion Third build is actually just the same thing sa the pyro, but just do it with the moonlight greatsword and just 40 int, no fatih, stack tons more poise. The izalith staff for dark sorceries, the white hair talisman for normal miracles (make sure your int is equal to or greater then your faith for this one), cathias chime for dark miracles, and of corse, normal pyro hand for pyromancies.

Dark Souls I is far more about looking cool than actual functionality. Defense plays a much smaller role than in Dark Souls II and the only real defensive stat that is worth a damn is poise, and even that can be worked around. I suggest just picking out what looks cool to you while trying to stay above 12 poise (above 25 is more optimal).

You should really stick to this as this is the most efficient build I have used: 25 vitality. 19 attunement. 40 endurance (makes casting time faster) 16 strength. 45 dexterity (if you like fast hitting weapons, go dexterity. Go strength if you like slow but painful weapon) 11 resistance. You will need 0 faith and intelligence.

Generally for a Pyromancer I would recommend any weapons with reasonably low STR and DEX requirements that get good scaling when infused. The armour is a personal aesthetic and can be modified to fit your own.Im still trying to figure this game out, I' currently going for a dex/pyro build but Im not relly sure how to allocate my stats. Obviously I need Dex, but now in DS3 Attunement factors into FP as well as spell slots, so I'm assuming still that attunemtn should be capped at some point. Im also not really sure how many points to put into endurance and vitality, and not to mention vigor. Also, is ...A chaos/dark claymore is great for a two handed weapon, or a infused long sword is good enough. Early game you are best off with a straight up longsword or broadsword raw infused. But it's story builds on AofA, so you should get that first. The DLC have some of the most memorable (and hardest) bosses in the game and even the franchise. The story feels like even more of a final conclusion to Dark Souls than the base game. I recommend it.

Reply. shelbertdoo. • 5 yr. ago. Pyro gives you access to strong fire and dark spells more so than fth or int by themselves due to how dark scaling works. It also gives you the versatility to access most spells and miracles, which makes it the best pure caster option. 30/30 and 45/45 are the most frequent stopping points for fth/int levelling.
