I have a 2009 duramax with 85k miles. I just threw a service engine light and the info window is scrolling between Service Stabilitrak, & Service traction control. The truck wont get beyond 2 or 3rd gear, and shifts hard, reverse is disabled and the shift indicator light is not present.. as in what gear, D, N, or R..Have a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado with these exact symptoms. I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 and have been facing the stabilitrak issue. The ‘service stabilitrak’ ‘service TC’ ‘stabilitrak off’ ‘TC off’ lights all come on after about 10 minutes of driving and they will without fail turn on every time when I get on the freeway.
