MEC002 Column: Use this column on surveyors tripods that use the larger 5/8-11 bolt. Measure the diameter of the attachment bolt on the tripod. It should be slightly less than 5/8" indicating it is a 5/8-11 thread. However if the bolt is slightly less than 3/8" it means your tripod uses a 3/8-16 bolt.

He started charging fees which in and of itself is not a problem. However, just read the posts here before forking over any money to him. I'll let you decide.
I just listed a Tasco 9F F=800mm, excellent cond. You can't post your own ads in the forum. That telescope is worth under $50 in perfect condition, especially with the extremely poor original tubular metal legs.
