Motor swap 4.3 to 5.3 ! Well got real tired of the little v6 and tired of no power so i bought me a 5.3 to put in. I already got the v6 out and the 5.3 in and tranny bolted up and almost everything hooked up. I have to put the converter bolts in and starter on and then Im done. Will post some pics in a bit.

1991 s10 with 5.3 swap from a 2001 Silverado. Body has 145k. 5.3 has 120k. 4L60e from maddog transmissions good for 500hp with shift kit has less than 100 miles. Truck was dropped with frame notch and drop spindles by previous owner. I did the 5.3 swap. Truck runs well. Completely stock motor and stock ECU. Very loud with tiny mufflers.
Gen 5 LT swap in S10. I'm not sure if this is posted in the right section but I'm sure it will get moved if necessary. Ok so the original plan was to do a "basic" LS swap (5.3 or 6.0 with a cam and such) and maybe add a turbo later. So far, all the searching I've done hasn't produced the motor/trans for the price I want; maybe I'm just cheap.
