Every neighborhood nearby in any direction from mine has above ground utilities and got ATT fiber ~4 years ago. I have never heard any news about our neighborhood eventually getting fiber.

Sep 7, 2021 · AT&T Just Laid Fiber in on my Street Today. I've been waiting about 10 years for fiber to come here and now it finally is. Most of my neighborhood has had fiber except the block on my street, even down the street has it. It just had been fiber to the node at my address (around 25mbps). AT&T fiber optic cable was installed on my street in Evansville, IN during the last several months. They dug numerous holes, some very large, and left them all open for several weeks while they went off to do five other jobs. When they finished, they did not repair any of the grass or landscaping they had repeatedly promised would be restored ...I did find out that I could get a business line by signing up to pay $30k (split over monthly payments) for 2 years of gigabit fiber. This would just get the fiber to the front of our house. I would have to pay the additional $5k to run a pipe + other work to get fiber from the street into the house.At this time we don’t have an exact time services in your area with be running. As you stated you do see AT&T Techs out working close to your house. They are working as quick as possible to get the whole neighborhood’s services up and running. We do greatly appreciate your continued patience while they are working to get this all resolved.
3 weeks ago, fiber optic line was installed in my neighborhood and ran in front of my house with a junction box present. The site still shows it is unavailable in my area and support cannot tell me any time frame of when it may be available. Can anyone here help with some sort of timetable?
