After cleaning the metal bits failed, I ended up cutting the metal ends off and using a butt splice with an environmental seal to connect the 2 wires and bypass the pinch detector all together.In this case, the DFI sensor and the 3 sets of pins will need to be replaced so we will send you new ones under the warranty.
